Visitors must surrender a valid driver’s license, government ID, passport, or equivalent ID during their stay. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend. Visitors must notify the Project Manager no later than the day before the meeting so they can be added to the access list. Directions: Enter the front gate off Ethan Allen Road. Proceed thru the gate for 200 yards to the first road on the right. Turn right and proceed thru the parking lot to the project site. Watch for Pre bid signs.

Bid Info:   The State of VT Military Department is soliciting bids for the EAFR 3/172 MEP Parking Improvements project in Jericho, Vermont. Emailed bids will be received by the State of Vermont Military Department, Building #5, Camp Johnson, 789 National Guard Road, Colchester, VT 05446-3099, no later than September 21st, 2022 at 1:00 PM at which time they will be opened by the Project Manager in the Building #5 Conference Room. Bids requiring bid bonds must submit scanned bid bond with bid proposal. Contractor awarded the project is required to submit the original bid bond to the Project Manager as soon as they have been notified of the awarded project. Bids must also include a completed Certificate of Compliance. If you choose to use the email method of delivery, Email the bid form contained herein and the required completed forms to mil.bidproposals@vermont.gov and copy the project manager. Include the project name and name of bidder on the subject line. REQUEST A DELIVERY RECEIPT FOR YOUR EMAIL WHEN YOU SEND IT. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure their bid arrives before the deadline to be considered.

Project Location: the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho, Vermont

Public Notes:
This project will consist of, but not be limited to labor and material to the construction of a 45’ x 120’ pre-engineered building and associated site improvements including a fenced MEP parking area. Structural systems for the building consist of conventional concrete foundations with spread footings extended below frost depth and a pre-engineered building structural steel frame, metal wall panels and metal roof panels. Power will be provided to the new building from the adjacent facility as indicated on the drawings. The project will be at the Ethan Allen Firing range in Jericho, Vermont. A criminal background check is required for all personnel if not presently on file with the CFMO and current within one year. Upon award, all employees expected to work on this project must submit paperwork provided by Project Manager for Army National Guard Security Staff to run required background check. For contractors that require access to a VTARNG facility or installation: Contractor and all associated sub-contractors employees shall comply with adjudication standards and procedures using the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification (NCIC-III) and Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) (Army Directive 2014-05/AR 190-13), and applicable installation, facility and area commander installation/facility access, and local security policies and procedures (provided by a government representative).
